SPONSOR?

We have a large number of cats and some dogs that call Home At Last their “FOREVER HOME”.  Many of our cats were “feral” (wild) when they came to us sick or injured.  Although they have gotten used to the HAL staff, they would not work in a home setting either because of their behavioral problems or health status.

Most of our dogs have health or behavioral issues.

It takes a lot of money to care for these precious animals. This would be a wonderful opportunity for you to help us with their care. We welcome your choosing a specific critter, if you like. You can contact us and we will be glad to email photos and history of your preferred animal.

A $30. donation feeds a dog for one month. (See “DONATE” below.)

A $10. donation feeds a cat and buys litter for one month. (See “DONATE” below.)

FOSTER?

We occasionally have a full house and are unable to take in an emergency dog or cat rescue.  If you feel that you could feed and shelter one of these animals for a few days or weeks, please let us know.

We would need to do a home visit to make sure that the foster would be successful.

Monetary gifts are needed and sincerely appreciated. Your gift is tax-deductible. Veterinary visits can drain our finances in just one sudden illness or accident.

ADOPT?

If you are sure of your commitment to adopt one of our rescues, we have a few adoptable cats (no dogs or horses at the moment). Please make an appointment to see if any of our critters are a good fit for you and your family.

We make home visits prior to finalizing adoptions to be sure that your new pet will be in just the right setting to benefit his/her welfare.

“IF YOU ARE ADOPTING AN ABUSED/NEGLECTED/ABANDONED ANIMAL, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS INNOCENT AND TRUSTING BEING HAS LIVED THROUGH TRAUMA THAT HAS DEEPLY AFFECTED HIM/HER.  YOU MUST BE COMMITTED TO MAKING THIS ADOPTION WORK AND KNOW THAT IT MAY NOT BE EASY.

ARE YOU COMMITTED TO PROVIDE THE TENDER, LOVING CARE THAT THIS PRECIOUS CREATURE PROBABLY NEVER HAD AND THAT GIVING UP ON HIM/HER IS NOT AN OPTION?
